Kevin Martinez is an Albuquerque based lawyer specializing in personal injury law. When designing a logo, I thought it was important to emphasize the beauty of the surrounding southwestern landscape. The abstract logo mark avoids the clichéd law office logo tropes such as scales, pillars, or gavels. Through color and form it suggests the Sandia Mountains that lie to the east of the city. I still hadn’t lost sight of the fact that I was making work for a law firm, and I made sure that the logo type was professional and clean.
